Communications and Extension Program
The Foothills Research Institute is committed to communications and knowledge transfer. We want our knowledge and tools integrated into forest and land management policy, planning and practice. Initiatives of the Program include environmental education and interpretive programs, communications tools such as newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, posters, as well as organizing tours, workshops, training courses and conferences. Furthermore, the Communications and Extension Program maintains a website and continues to provide information to the public and media.
