The Foothills Research Institute's research programs are of importance to our partnership and to many who apply our work to their practices and policies. We have evolved into an organization recognized provincially, nationally and internationally through its credible scientific research programs and direct link and relevance to management.
Foothills Research Institute continues to expand its programs and related tools and knowledge outside the identified land baoundaries but under the name of the Foothills Research Institute umbrella. We ensure that our innovative sustainable forest land management knowledge and applications are demonstrated to forest managers and practitioners, the public at large, and others with a stake in the sustainability of our forest landscapes. We place a high priority on the transfer of our technology and knowledge to stakeholders to support the universal goal of sustainable forest landscape management.
