Natural Disturbance Short Course

Interest in using natural disturbance patterns to help guide forest and land management decision-making is growing rapidly. Towards this need, the Natural Disturbance Program at the Foothills Research Institute has developed a 3-day course that will provide a common foundation for understanding the conceptual underpinnings of a natural disturbance (ND) approach. This course has been successfully delivered 5 times in the last two years.

On-going Call for Interest 
This is a mobile course in that materials can be transported and instructors are available to teach it in many different locations.  Also note that we are willing to offer this course for a flat fee to existing local education and technology transfer organizations with suitable capacity and a local willing audience.
